Joseph Yobo was a great a Leader - Sani Keita

Former Nigeria International midfielder Sani Keita says Joseph Yobo was a great leader, one that the Super Eagles and Nigeria would miss because he served his country without holding back in his active days.

The former Sparta Rotterdam and Monaco midfielder who is in Port Harcourt to participate in the Yobo Centenary game told sportlineng he is delighted to be part of Joseph Yobo testimonial macth.

“I am happy to be here for Yobo’s testimonial game.”

“Its a pleasure to be here because Yobo served this country, he was a good leader as Eagles captain.”

The combative midfielder who has 20 caps for the Super Eagles reflected on his memorable moment with Joseph Yobo in the National team.

“We always have a good connection on the pitch.”

“I think the World Cup match against Argentina was my most memorable with him.”

“He gave everything in that match we were unlucky to concede in that match.”

The testimonial match will be played on Friday 27th of May 2016  at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium Port Harcourt, Nigeria by 4:00 pm.
