Flying Eagles, Emmanuel Amuneke expects tough challenge

Flying Eagles Coach, Emmanuel Amuneke has admitted that the task of guiding the team to victory will be tougher than his previous achievement with the U-17 at the World Cup in 2015.

The World Cup winner has commenced preparation for the 2017 Afcon U-20 Cup of Nations qualifiers against Burundi billed for next month and he maintains there is need to be meticulous and detailed in building a team.

Nigeria are defending champions on the continent, the last edition of the competition won by Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade in Senegal.

At the weekend, the Flying Eagles thumped a local team 4-0 in Abuja with 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup stars, Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Nwakali leading the charge for Amuneke’s men.
