Guus Hiddink: ‘I won’t give any advice to Antonio Conte’
Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink has insisted that he will not provide incoming coach Antonio Conte with any feedback before he leaves the Premier League club in the summer.
At the end of the campaign, Hiddink would have managed Chelsea’s final 27 games of the season after replacingJose Mourinho in December but he has said that he is reluctant to have his say when Conte and his staff arrive at Stamford Bridge.
The Dutchman told the club’s official website: “His assistants are watching videos and live games, but because I want to have fair treatment directly for the players I’m not going to give judgement.
“I didn’t want information when I started, everyone has his view, right or wrong. On top of that, they are clever and experienced enough to make their own judgements.”
Chelsea have endured a disappointing year but can make sure of ninth position in the standings withvictory over Liverpool on Wednesday night.
