NFF Lists Criteria for Next Super Eagles Coach
The Nigeria Football Federation has reiterated its decision to commence the process of hiring the next Super Eagles Coach after the International friendlies later this month but Chairman of the FA’s Technical Committee, Barrister Christopher Green has suggested that the mistake with hiring a candidate like Sunday Oliseh will be avoided.
Speaking with journalist Green listed a number of criteria the Committee will consider before naming the choice for the what has become one of the most difficult jobs in the sport.
According to Green, for Nigeria to avoid further disappointments on the continent and in global football, the next Super Eagles Coach must be experienced, exposed and have a good understanding of African football and in-depth knowledge of Nigerian players.
He also stated that the pick must be an individual who is flexible enough to adapt to situations and is capable of building on the NFF’s project of players’ transition and the adoption of a football philosophy from the age grade teams to the Super Eagles.
