We Have Failed Nigerians, NFF Technical Director, Chris Green

The Chairman of the Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation Barrister Chris Green says the present board have failed Nigerians.

Speaking in a telephone interview with R2TV weekly show “Football Afrique” he lamented over the the inability of the Super Eagles to qualify for  two AFCON tournaments, the Flying Eagles and the Golden Eaglets but however, expressed optimism of good things to come soon.

“We have failed Nigerians, we should apologize to all Nigerians.

“I personally apologize to Nigerians for not qualifying to the Nations cup back to back, the Flying Eagles and the Golden Eaglets.

“No body should pass any vote of confidence on any body, we have all (NFF board) failed, my self I have failed let’s give Gernot Rohr a chance,” he said.

On the new Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Green reiterated that the German is fully in charge of decisions on the pitch.
