FC Ifeanyiubah’s imports inspire comfortable victory over Shooting Stars

Shooting Stars of Ibadan were made to pay for their poor first half display as FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s imports outclassed them in a 3-1 win at the Nnewi Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Brazilian Alberico Barbosa da Silva put the home side ahead in the 9th minute before Kofi Nti doubled in the 37th minute. Seka Pascal got the third just before the interval to end the game as a contest.

Last weekend’s hattrick hero Wasiu Jimoh would pull one back after the restart, the goal seemed to inspire hopes of a likely comeback but FC Ifeanyi Ubah held firm to deny the visitors any points.
