Obaje: I Prefer A Move To Isreal.

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) top scorer Godwin Obaje says he is aware of interest in his services from Tunisian top side Sfaxien, but he prefers a move to Israel.

The Wikki Tourist forward who has 14 goals in the Nigeria Professional league while admitting to knowing about Sfaxien interest, went a step further by revealing he is keen on a move to Israel due to the perseverance of the agent involved.

“Am aware of Sfaxien interest, I was told by my club chairman but there’s the interest from Israel which am keen on due to the agent involved in the deal,” the lanky striker told Sportlineng.com

“He sent his contact man in Nigeria to come to Bauchi, apparently not satisfied with the response he got, he came all the way from Israel to see me when we were in Abuja ahead of our tour to Spain, that has in a way turned my focus from other options at least for now,” he said.

According to the player, a decision on his future will be made in agreement with Wikki Tourist, as he feels he owe them trust and loyalty due to the faith the club have in him.

“I have advisers, who are handling offers on my behalf but i am still a Wikki Tourist player and any decision on my transfer will have to be a deal that the club agrees to, I owe them loyalty as they have done a lot for my career.” the player said.

Godwin Obaje is still with the NPFL All Stars that will face Atletico Madrid this Saturday in Spain.
