The midfielder got his first league goal of the season as the Biancocelesti sealed a place in next season’s Champions League after their win at the Stadio San Paolo on Sunday
Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi grabbed his first goal of the season in Lazio’s 4-2 victory at Napoli on Sunday night.
He replaced Danilo Cataldi in the 84th minute and found the back of the net a minute later to give his team the lead before veteran forward Miroslav Klose ahead the fourth in stoppage time.
Marco Parolo and Antonio Candreva struck to put the visitors in a commanding position. Gonzalo Higuain scored twice in ten second half minutes while Parolo was dismissed for two bookable offences.
Faouzi Ghoulam also saw red for the hosts and Higuain missed from the penalty spot. Onazi scored a late winner within seconds of coming on to secure and Miroslav Klose headed home in injury time.
The game was the Nigerian’s 16th of the season with 10 of those games as substitute as Lazio ended the season with 69 points from 38 games to finish third.
