Orelope promises Wolves goals

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) attacking midfielder, Tope Orelope has promised goal feast against top flight matchday 16 opponents, Warri Wolves.

The Oluyole Warriors will host the Seasiders in midweek Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 16 clash at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.

The Ibadan warlords enjoyed a heartwarming 1-1 draw at Enugu Rangers in match day 15 tie while the Warri outfit were benched 0-1 by visitors, Rivers United heading to the epic clash on Wednesday.

Orelope said his side want to use the encounter against Warri Wolves to warm themselves into the heart of the teeming supporters after going three matches without a win.

“Sure, we will beat Warri Wolves for the whole three points at stake in match day 16 clash on Wednesday in Ibadan.

“Expectedly, Warri Wolves will come out strong aimed at ruffling some feathers especially after the home loss to visiting Akwa United but we will beat them to their tricks.

“Three points are guaranteed but we hope to spice the expected victory with goals to make up for the three matches without a win and to prove to our supporters that we can actually win match convincingly.

“Of course, I hope to add at least two goals to the goals that will nail Warri Wolves on Wednesday.

“We are boosted with the heartwarming 1-1 draw at Enugu Rangers to target another five-star performance that will help our position on the log,” said 3SC top goal poacher.

The Ibadan landlords are 17th on the 20-team Nigerian top flight on 17 points 11 behind leaders, Enugu Rangers.
